When we picture anxiety, most of us imagine visible struggle, like a racing heart before a panic attack, someone unable to leave the house, or a person visibly unraveling under stress. Our cultural script equates distress with collapse. So when someone is punctual, accomplished, endlessly reliable, and calm under pressure, we assume they have it all figured out.
