Good Faith Estimate

Purpose:

Under a new law applied in 2022, healthcare providers are required to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” to all clients who are private pay or opting not to use insurance. This is to prevent surprise “balance billing” or unanticipated costs to healthcare. You are entitled to receive this estimate both verbally and in writing, if requested. You are also welcome to request a copy of this estimate at any time during treatment.

Private Practice Considerations:

A requirement for the “Good Faith Estimate” is an included diagnosis/diagnostic code. Some clients that we work with will qualify for a diagnostic code and others will not, as the services we provide range from medical treatment to personal growth. Due to this, we will not provide diagnostic information unless it is desired or required. Please let us know if you would like this information.

Good Faith Estimate:

Typically, clients see us 2x a month for 50-60 min sessions each.  At a session cost of $150-165 per 50-60 min, this generally amounts to $300-330 a month.

At times, we have clients who opt for weekly sessions.  In this case, an average expected cost would be $600-660.

Shorter term therapeutic focused work is often 6 months or more as desired, for costs between$1800-$3,960 depending on frequency. Longer term trauma work is often 1 year or more, priced accordingly.

Updates to your “Good Faith Estimate” will occur as requested by you.

Please discuss with us any concerns you have about cost or questions about your bill during our first session.  We are more than happy to clarify/recommend frequency of sessions based on your unique needs.
